The Brief:

To restore Poynton Park Boat House

​

Works to include: 

Full roof refurbishment. 

Installation of a new door and door frame, plus installation of new fascia boards and guttering.

The Details

  • Strip off the stone slate roof, fascias & barge boards

  • Repair rotten timber to ends of purlins.

  • Replace timber rafters.

  • Replace close-boarded timber.

  • Install roof felt & re-slate roof, plus ridges

  • Install new fascia board and heritage cast guttering. 

  • Install new door and frame.

  • Carry out minor brick repairs.

  • Install new fascia and nest opportunity to allow bats to nest. 

  • ·Decorate with original green paint finish
